Research activities of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering are divided into Subject areas, which are marked by interdisciplinary features and research focus.

Centres

The active centres which refer to the Department are:

  • University Centre for Intelligent Buildings - CUNEDI
  • University Centre for Metrology - CUM
  • University Centre for the Protection of Mountain Environment (CUDAM) CUDAM is an interdepartmental centre of excellence, created by the decree of the Ministry of Education and University and it is a reference centre of National Civil Protection. CUDAM is autonomous from the administrative and financial viewpoint
