Dolomia Biodiversity Award: supporting research on biodiversity
Dolomia has launched the Dolomia Biodiversity Award, a prize aimed at supporting and promoting young researchers whose thesis work focuses on biodiversity, ecology and environmental sustainability.
The award is promoted in collaboration with the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park and is open to Master’s and PhD graduates who defended their thesis between January 2023 and March 2026, in disciplines related to biodiversity studies, with particular attention to mountain and Dolomites ecosystems.
Three award categories are available:
best Master’s thesis on biodiversity;
best PhD thesis on biodiversity;
best Master’s or PhD thesis on the biodiversity of the Dolomites.
Each award includes a €1,500 gross prize, an official plaque, a certificate of merit, and the opportunity to present the research during an official event held in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Applications will be open from January 15 to March 31, 2026.
The award ceremony will take place on May 22, 2026.
